“We are going to have a blueberry festival this year in South Haven and are so excited,” says National Blueberry Festival board chairwoman Amy Jo Andrus. She spoke to SuperHits 103.7 COSY FM to make the announcement. The event this year will be August 12-15th in South Haven.
“We’re so glad that we can bring at least something back to our community after a long year-plus for everybody,” Andrus says. She adds the popular pie eating contests will be back, but there will not be a main stage.
“We’re gonna have some alternative music ideas that we hope can come to fruition.”
Andrus says they are looking for local musicians for smaller shows around the city. Van Buren Transit will operate a free shuttle from the old Village Market parking lot on M-140 to downtown.
