Demolition has begun on the former South Haven Community Hospital building, now Bronson-South Haven. Plans were announced over the summer to tear down the structure at 955 Bailey Avenue as Bronson plans for a green space at the site. It could also possibly be the site of health services in the future. The old hospital is no longer needed as Bronson has constructed a new facility on Blue Star Highway, north of the old one. Bronson bought the old hospital in 2018.
